Part two picks up where part one left of and is even crazier than the first. We find out just how sick Jayla and Kendrick are. And the shocking twist, OMG!!! I had a hunch it was him just from reading his explanation to his wife. UGHHH what a bunch of sickos that family was. No wonder he didn't pass the mental test, that whole family was one fry short of a happy meal. Starting with the stupid twit Jayla. I mean come on what more does the man have to do for you to understand that he don't want you??? I can't believe she pushed Aniya down the stairs and killed her baby just because in her sick and twisted mind, Gavin was hers and she was supposed to be the one having his kids???I loved the book but hated that they killed off Gia and her kids. I know she was wrong for withholding the information from her family, but did she have to pay for that with her and her kids lives??? I'm guessing this is the end judging from the epilogue. Book was good, my only gripe was the killing of Gia and the kids and spelling and grammar.

i cant believe the shit that happened in this book . the ending made me cry... but it was a great book. the way the book was written and the way i pictured shit in my head it was like i was in the movie theaters. i still cant believe how certain shit was put together. excellent read. you wont regret buying this one.
This book was action packed and was well written. You could see growth in Mercedes Taylor's writing. It told the truth behind Jayla and Kendrick and they had an interesting story. I absolutely hate the editing because there were many errors, but they didn't stop the overall flow of the story. If there's a part three I want a happier ending, because I found myself in tears in the end.
This was one helluva read. Ma I have give you your props you did that. Reading this book have me screaming, mad and crying all at the same time. All I could say was WOW,because I never would have thought it would have ended like that. I'm still speechless but above all I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. You did AMAZING!!!
I must say part 2 was just as good as part 1. Aniya, Gavin, Gio, Gia, & Nicole went on another roller coaster ride in this one but the kicker was the double life Kaiden was living. OMG...it just goes to show you don't really no anyone you only know what they want you to know. I do think if the guys had moved faster things wouldn't have gotten out of hand they way they did. I give 10 thumbs up for this book and I hope there is a part 3 in the making because trouble always seems to follow this group.
Omg!!!! I don't know if it's cause I'm pregnant and hormonal or what but this book had me laughing one minute then crying the next and ready to jump in a whoop someone's ass!!! This book went to a whole other level compared to the first one. Like I didn't see it coming it's something you just could make up even on your best of days. Read it. It's a real page Turner for sure. Best book I've read in 2013.
Sad how the ending turned out.. Jayla is one dirty grimy person if she would have accepted the fact that Gavin never wanted her and moved on it wouldn't have turned out that way and I can't believe kaiden how u think u knew somebody but u really didn't know them at all.. wondering if there is going to be another book but over all I enjoyed this but even tho I disliked how it ended.. would of rather it ended with a happy ending but things don't go that way sometimes
The story was a good one, but because of all the grammatical errors it made reading less enjoyable and I read for enjoyment. If you need a cheap editor I'm here for you. You are a creative writer with good skills don't turn off potential and committed readers of yours because of being grammatically incorrect. Looking forward to upcoming projects. The love between Gavin and Aniya was off the chain as well as the love between Gio and Nicole. The love of family for them is strong, not forgetting about Gia and family.
